What's included in the boat price?

Just the boat, for a week. Usually paid separately: transit log and final cleaning, fuel, marina fees, the security deposit (or deposit insurance), a skipper, cook and hostess if you need them, and extras (SUP board, on-board Wi-Fi, coffee machine, child safety netting).

How does payment work?

You pay in two instalments: a 30–70% prepayment when you book, which secures the boat, and the balance a month before departure. If departure is less than a month away, you pay the full amount straight away.

Can I pay from Russia?

Yes, in roubles at the Central Bank of Russia rate for the day of payment, +6%, by bank transfer with a contract, for both individuals and companies. Or in cash at our Moscow office. Paying from other countries is arranged case by case: ask the manager.

Prices are in euros, but I pay in roubles. What if the exchange rate jumps?

The amount in euros is fixed in the contract and doesn't change. Each payment is converted into roubles separately, at the Central Bank of Russia rate for the day of payment, +6%. So if the rate jumps after the prepayment, only the rouble amount of the balance changes: if the euro goes up, the balance costs more; if it goes down, less. Last-minute bookings are paid in full at once, at a single rate.

What is the security deposit and how is it paid?

The security deposit is your insurance excess in case of damage, usually €1,000–8,000. It is taken at the base at check-in on a credit card issued outside Russia: charter companies don't accept Russian cards or debit cards. With a hired skipper the deposit terms may be different, and not every charter company accepts a cash deposit or deposit insurance: check with the manager.

When will the deposit hold be released?

After the boat is returned at check-out without damage or claims. The money isn't charged: the hold is simply released, though the bank sometimes keeps the amount blocked for another 1–2 weeks. Any damage found is usually paid for from the deposit. If you'd rather not have the amount frozen, ask the manager about deposit insurance: not every charter company offers it, and even with it part of the amount may be held.

Will there be a contract?

Yes. Once the manager has checked that the boat is available, they'll send you the contract (for an individual or a company) and an invoice. The contract is signed before the prepayment, and companies also get the accounting documents they need. After the prepayment, the charter company confirms the booking.

Which account do I pay into, and what are the bank details?

Officially, to the bank account of a legal entity. The full bank details are in the contract and the invoice: the manager will send them once you've agreed on the terms. Only pay using the details in these documents. You can also pay in cash at our Moscow office. Paying from other countries is arranged case by case: ask the manager.

How much money should I bring to the base?

At the base office you pay the transit log or comfort pack (cleaning, bed linen) and the tourist tax. For catamarans in Croatia in October 2026, that's about €500 per charter and €10 per person per week; some companies take this in advance, and the tax is sometimes paid in cash. Plus fuel and marina fees. The security deposit is separate, on a card issued outside Russia. Check the exact amount with the manager.

What if I have to cancel the booking or change the dates?

Cancellation and date-change terms depend on the charter company and how long before departure you get in touch: as a rule, the closer the departure, the more a cancellation costs. Changing the dates is usually only possible by agreement with the charter company. The manager will send you the cancellation terms for your boat before you pay. If your plans change, tell the manager straight away.
